Recent changes now available in AesthetiClinic.
What has changed
- You can set an agreed final price or discount separately for each treatment in a visit. Reasons are optional, and the visit panel shows the total, paid amount and balance. See Applying a discount in clinic.
- The diary now names the treatments in a visit and lets you select the one you want to work on. Cancelled treatments stay out of the way until you choose to show them. See Multi-treatment visits: several treatments in one appointment.
- You can complete all attended treatments in a visit in one press. The diary also distinguishes a price that has not been set from a settled balance. See Appointment statuses explained.
- Choose Native, High contrast or Dark in My account. Your clinical theme follows your account across clinics and devices. See Choosing your clinical theme.
- Diary grid lines and new-appointment clicks now follow your clinic's booking interval. Treatment colours use a consistent named palette across all three clinical themes. See The calendar.
- SMS auto top-up can now use the payment method on your clinic subscription. A manual credit purchase is no longer required just to save a payment method. See SMS auto top-up.
- You can regenerate your own calendar feed link from Shifts. Other colleagues cannot copy your feed, while owners can still manage the clinic’s feeds. See Seeing your diary in Google or Outlook.
- Sign out now ends the session on the device you are using. Use Sign out everywhere in My account when you need to end all your sessions. See Signing out on other devices.
- Booking checkout no longer offers saved cards for faster rebooking. Patients use the normal Stripe payment step. See Payment at booking.
- Send a personal care email from the Messages card on a patient's record. The email and its outcome appear in their message history. See Sending a one-off patient email.
- Owners can change Retail item and VAT category on an existing product. Changes apply to future sales, while checkout and receipt values stay tied to the original sale. See Selling retail products and skincare.
- Patient, stock, prescription and finance lists are easier to use on a phone, with cards instead of wide rows. The workspace also refreshes stale information when you return to it after the clinic day changes. See Using AesthetiClinic on a phone or tablet.
- Xero now retries payments skipped for a missing liability account after you add it. Payments waiting on another document are retried once that document is available. See Sending your takings to Xero (and other accounting software).
- Retail receipts now list each product and quantity. Stripe refunds also identify the original payment on the credit note. See Receipts and credit notes.
- Reception can record a reservation fee collected by cash, card terminal or bank transfer against the visit. It reduces the later balance without charging a card or sending a patient message. See Recording a reservation fee in clinic.
- Owners can choose whether a location's address appears on public booking pages. Patient emails and documents still use the recorded address. See Running more than one location.
- Maps now include a Body (back) diagram and optional dose labels. Visit maps also link you to each treatment note's Edit or Amend action and remind you when notes need saving. See Charting injections on a face or body map.
- Staff invitation links work once and expire after seven days. Resend cancels the earlier link, while Get link gives a sign-in page that sends the private link to the team member's own inbox. See Inviting your team.
- Billing now distinguishes a trial that will convert from one that still needs a subscription. Its dates match the trial banner in UK time, and subscribed clinics are not asked to subscribe again. See Your free trial and subscribing.
- Email entry now catches invalid formats, likely typos and domains that may not receive mail. Typo and mail-record warnings are advisory for staff; new or changed addresses still need a valid basic format. Patient registration and booking ask for correction or confirmation where needed. See Checking patient email addresses.
