Multi-treatment visits: several treatments in one appointment
Patients can now book up to four treatments in a single visit, and your team can do the same from the calendar. The treatments run back to back with the same practitioner, and the whole visit behaves as one booking: one confirmation email, one reminder, one booking reservation fee.
How patients book a multi-treatment visit
On your booking page, each treatment card has an + Add button beside Select. Patients add the treatments they want, then press Continue. Available times only show where the whole visit fits, so a slot can never be offered that only works for the first treatment.
The reservation fee for a visit is the highest single fee among the chosen treatments, never the sum. The patient pays it once and it comes off their bill in clinic as usual.
How your team books one
In the calendar, create an appointment and press Add another treatment in the drawer. The drawer shows the combined duration before you save. Each treatment appears as its own diary block, labelled as part of the visit (for example, "leg 1 of 2").
Changing or cancelling a visit
Opening any leg in the calendar shows the whole visit, with Cancel this leg only and Cancel whole visit. Patients can cancel the whole visit from the patient portal, subject to your usual notice policy. To move a visit to another time, cancel and rebook it, or call it through the clinic; patients cannot reschedule multi-treatment visits online.
Emails and forms
The patient gets one confirmation covering every treatment, one reminder per visit, and any consent or medical forms needed across all the chosen treatments are sent together. Aftercare still sends per treatment, because it is clinical.
