Emergency kit register and treatment supervision

Two small records that carry weight with insurers and inspectors: a register of the emergency drugs you hold to manage a complication, and the ability to name the regulated professional who supervises a treatment.

The emergency kit register

Under Settings > Prescribing, the Emergency kit register lists the drugs you keep for adverse events, for example hyaluronidase to dissolve filler in a vascular occlusion, or adrenaline for anaphylaxis. For each item record the product, batch, expiry, quantity, who authorised supply, and where in the clinic it is kept. Expired items show in red and items within 60 days in amber, so you can see at a glance what needs replacing before a check or an incident.

Naming a supervising professional

On Settings > Treatments, a treatment can name a supervising prescriber: the regulated professional who oversees it. This matters where a treatment is delivered under the oversight of a named healthcare professional, which is the direction England's amber-tier licensing is heading. It is optional, and only appears once you have marked someone in your team as a prescriber.

Face-to-face prescribing

These records sit alongside the prescribing rules that have applied across all four UK regulators since 1 June 2025: a prescription for a cosmetic injectable requires a face-to-face consultation, with no remote-signing shortcut. Recording the prescriber, their registration and the emergency provisions is how you evidence that you are working within those rules.
