Logging complications and adverse events

When a treatment causes a problem — a delayed reaction, an infection, a vascular event — log it on the patient's record as a complication. This is separate from the treatment record itself: it captures what went wrong, how serious, and what was done.

Logging one

On the patient's record, add a complication: describe what happened, set the severity, and optionally link the treatment record and the implicated product and batch number. The batch link matters — if a product is ever recalled or a pattern emerges, you can trace every affected patient.

The complications report

Reports → Complications gathers every logged event across the clinic — the audit trail insurers and regulators expect, and an honest picture of your own complication rate by treatment and product.
