Checking and managing your Stripe connection
Once you have started connecting Stripe, the Settings > Integrations page tells you exactly where things stand and what to do next.
Reading the status
Under Stripe (card payments) you will see one of these:
- Connected and ready to take payments. All good; deposits and payments will be collected at booking.
- Connected, but Stripe still needs a few more details. You can take payments, but Stripe wants more information (usually identity or bank checks). Use Finish Stripe setup to complete it before Stripe pauses anything.
- Your Stripe setup isn't finished yet. You started onboarding but did not complete it. Press Finish Stripe setup to pick up where you left off.
- Connect with Stripe. Nothing is connected yet; this button starts the hosted Stripe onboarding.
Opening your Stripe dashboard
When connected, the Manage on Stripe button signs you straight into your Stripe dashboard, where you can see every charge, manage payouts and enable payment methods such as Klarna and Clearpay.
While Stripe is not connected
Online bookings still work, but no money can be taken at booking, so appointments confirm without a deposit. Features that depend on a card on file, such as the no-show fee and buy now, pay later, also stay off until Stripe is connected.
