A patient's financial history on the Billing tab

Each patient record has a Billing tab. Its Financial history card combines payments and refunds recorded in AesthetiClinic with read-only entries imported from your previous system, newest first.
Finding it
- Open the patient's record from Patients.
- Choose Billing.
- Scroll to Financial history.
Narrowing the list
- All shows payments and refunds from AesthetiClinic alongside imported entries.
- AesthetiClinic shows payments and refunds recorded here.
- Previous system shows imported entries. Beneath this filter, choose Ledger for ledger entries or Receipts for receipt entries. Press the selected filter again to show both kinds.
The card initially shows 20 rows. Use Show more to see another 20.
What each line shows
Each line shows Date, Type, Description, Method, Amount and Status. Imported entries are marked From your previous system. A refunded tag shows where a payment is marked as refunded. Where a receipt or credit note is available, View opens it.
Good to know
- You cannot edit entries in this card.
- You can also find current payment receipts and credit notes under Finance, Receipts. See Receipts and credit notes.
- To reverse a mistakenly recorded treatment payment, an owner can use Correct a payment in the appointment. See Correcting a recorded payment.
- Account credit is shown separately on the same Billing tab.
- If the card says Financial history could not be loaded. Reload the page., reload it rather than treating the missing list as an empty history.
