Reports: every figure in one place
Nothing you have set up has changed. No setting moved, no figure was redefined, and nobody gained or lost access to anything. Reports is simply a much bigger page than it was yesterday.
What is now available
Reports is now an index of every report you have, grouped under Business performance, Financial, Clinical, Appointments, Clients, Stock and Staff, with a sentence under each one saying what it answers.
- One period picker sits above every report: today, yesterday, this or last week, this or last month, this or last quarter, this year, the last twelve months, or your own dates. A day runs midnight to midnight, UK time.
- A staff filter and an appointment-location filter appear on the reports where they mean something, and stay put as you move between reports.
- Export CSV and Print are on every report that has a table. The printed page carries your clinic name, the report, the period and the time it was printed.
- A day sheet under Appointments, grouped by practitioner then time, with allergies, alerts and outstanding forms beside each patient. It is built to be printed at the start of the day.
- The money reports are new: sales, service sales, product sales, takings by day, refunds and corrections, deposits, invoices, stored value and the VAT split, plus a monthly summary, future value, retention and patient spend.
Each report explains underneath it how its figures are counted, so you can see what is included before you act on a number.
What you may want to do
- Nothing, if you are happy. Your old reports are all still there, under Clinical and Business performance, with the same numbers in them.
- Check who can see the money. The Financial, Business performance and Staff reports are visible to the owner and to any team member you have given the finance permission. Appointments, the patient list, stock and the clinical reports are open to everyone. If you want a team member to see revenue, or to stop seeing it, tell us and we will set their permission.
- Try the day sheet if reception currently prints the diary. It is the same day, in the order it happens, with the paperwork gaps already flagged.
