Mapping injection points on a treatment record

Every treatment record can carry a visual map of exactly where product went, point by point.

Opening the map

In the Treatment records section of the patient record, each record has a link on the right: Add map if there is no map yet, or View map with the number of points if there is.

Choosing a base

Pick the diagram that fits the treatment: Face front, Profile, Lips or Body.

Adding points

Tap the diagram to drop a numbered point, then fill in the details for that point:

• Product (the field suggests products from your Stock list).
• Quantity and unit.
• Instrument and depth / plane.
• Batch / lot no. and expiry.
• A free-text note.

The numbered points on the diagram line up with the injection points table below it, and a summary totals what was used. Press Save map when you are done; the button stays disabled until you have unsaved changes.

Printing

Press Print map for a clean printout of the diagram and point list, with your clinic details in the header.

Locked records

Once a record has been signed off, the map becomes read-only and shows a notice with the date it was locked. See the article on signing off a treatment record.
