Setting up your stock products

The Stock page tracks the products you hold: what you have, what is running low, and every movement in and out.

Adding a product

1. Go to Stock and find the Add product form.
2. Enter the Brand (for example Allergan) and the Name (for example Botox 100u). Name is the only required field, but including the brand keeps a mixed shelf tidy.
3. Optionally add a Category such as Toxin or Filler, and a Low-stock threshold so the product is flagged when it runs down.
4. Tick Retail item if you sell it to patients; this reveals Cost and Retail price fields.
5. Press Add product.

Adjusting levels

Use +/- Adjust on any product row to change its level. Enter the change (for example 5 or -2), pick a reason (Adjustment, Received or Used) and add a note. Use Received when a delivery arrives.

The movements log

Every change is recorded under Recent movements: date, product, the change, the reason, any note, and who did it. Treatments you sign off appear here automatically as used movements, and stock takes as stock take movements, so the history explains itself.

Archiving

Press Archive on a product you no longer carry. It leaves your active list and stock takes, but its movement history is kept.
