Setting up membership plans
A membership is a recurring monthly plan that gives a patient a discount on treatments, for example a Skin Club at £49 a month with 10% off. Memberships turn occasional visitors into committed regulars with predictable revenue.
Creating a plan
- Go to Settings > Memberships (owners only).
- In the Memberships section, fill in the form: a Plan name, the Monthly price, the Treatment discount (%) members receive, and an optional description of what members get.
- Press Add membership plan.
You can create several plans at different price points. Each plan in the list shows its monthly price and discount, and can be deactivated at any time with the Deactivate button. Deactivating stops new enrolments without touching patients already on the plan, and you can Reactivate later.
Enrolling patients
Plans are defined in Settings but sold from the patient's record. Open the patient, find the Memberships & packages section, pick a plan from the dropdown and press Enrol on membership. Their active membership then shows on their record with its price and discount, and can be cancelled from the same place.
How money is handled
Memberships are admin-managed in this version: the monthly payment is collected however you choose (standing order, card on the day, or a recorded payment) rather than charged automatically. Record the money you take so your finance reporting stays honest.
Pricing the discount
The maths should work in both directions: the discount rewards loyalty, and the monthly fee more than covers it for a patient visiting regularly. A 10% discount against a £49 monthly fee is a sensible starting shape.
