Saved cards for faster rebooking

Returning patients can save their card so their next booking is a couple of taps rather than typing card details again.

How it works for the patient

When the feature is on for your clinic, patients see a Save my card for faster rebooking next time checkbox at the confirm step, just above payment. If they tick it, their card is stored when they pay. Next time they book while signed in to their patient account, the saved card is offered at checkout.

Where the card actually lives

Card details are stored by Stripe, on your own connected Stripe account. Card numbers never touch your clinic records. AesthetiClinic only keeps the link between the patient and their Stripe customer record.

Saved cards are only shown to the right person

A saved card is only ever surfaced when the booker is signed in as that patient. Someone simply typing the same email address at checkout will not see it.

Interaction with other features

• If your no-show fee is on, the card from booking is kept on file regardless of the checkbox, because there must be a card to charge the fee to.
• While a card is being saved, Klarna and Clearpay are not offered for that payment; they cannot store a reusable card.
