Resources (rooms and equipment) and indication codes

As the clinic owner, you can manage two housekeeping tools in Settings, Resources (the page is headed Resources & indications).

Resources

Rooms, machines or other equipment that treatments depend on, such as a laser, a treatment room or a hydrafacial machine. Add each resource with Add a resource and link it to the treatments that need it, and online booking checks that the resource has enough capacity, even when several practitioners are free at the same time. If you are a single-room clinic, one "Treatment room" resource with quantity 1 linked to everything caps online booking at one appointment at a time. Check room and equipment availability yourself when booking in the diary.

ICD indication codes

A treatment record and a prescription request can each carry up to five standardised ICD-11 indication codes, useful for insurers and for clinics that report clinical activity formally. They are optional: most aesthetic clinics only need them if their insurer, or a scheme they belong to, asks.

Choose the first code under Main indication (ICD-11, optional). To record another, tap + Add another indication and choose it under Further indication; Remove takes that row away. The first code is the main indication, and the codes are kept and shown in the order you chose them. To change the order, change the code chosen in each row.

The list offers the ICD-11 library and any codes your clinic adds here, in Settings, Resources. A treatment record's indications can be changed while its notes can be edited (up to 24 hours after they are written, and never once it is signed off); after that, add an amendment instead. A prescription request's indications are set when it is raised.
