Reading your conversion funnel
The Conversion page (in the Business section of the menu, owners only) shows how well your public booking page turns visitors into bookings, and exactly where people give up along the way.
The headline numbers
At the top you get four figures for your chosen period, switchable between 7, 30 and 90 days:
- Conversion rate: the percentage of visitors who ended up booking.
- Bookings confirmed.
- Visitors: distinct people who landed on your booking page.
- Waitlist joins: people who could not find a slot but joined your waitlist instead, demand you would otherwise never see.
The funnel
The Booking funnel chart shows how many distinct visitors reached each step of the journey, from landing on the page through to confirming a booking, with each bar as a percentage of those who landed. Under each step you can see how many people dropped off there, and the single biggest drop is highlighted in red as your biggest leak.
What to do with it
The biggest leak is the opportunity. A big drop right at the start often means the page and your marketing promise do not match. A drop at the times step usually means availability is too thin, so check your shifts. A drop at payment is worth a look at your deposit amounts. Fix one leak, wait a couple of weeks, and check whether the bar has lifted.
If the page says We're collecting data, nobody has used your booking page in the period yet; share your booking link and come back once traffic flows.
