Previewing a form before you publish
Before you publish a new version, check it looks right from the patient's side without sending anything.
The patient preview
In the form editor, click Patient preview near the bottom of the page. It expands to show the form exactly as patients will see it: the patient details section if enabled, information blocks styled as highlighted panels, Yes/No buttons, choice lists, and required questions marked with an asterisk.
The preview updates live as you edit, so you can tweak a question and see the result immediately.
What to check
- Questions read clearly and in a sensible order; use the arrows to reorder.
- The right questions are marked required.
- Yes/No questions that need specifics have Ask for details when answered YES ticked.
- Information blocks carry the wording you actually want patients to read.
Publish when happy
Nothing patients see changes until you click Publish new version. The editor reminds you with an Unsaved changes. Publish to apply. note while there is a draft outstanding. After publishing, a confirmation shows the new version number, and the Version history table at the foot of the page lists every version with its publish date, question count and a Current badge on the live one.
