Note templates: reusable documentation for routine appointments
If you write the same treatment documentation many times a week, save it once as a note template and stop starting from a blank page.
Saving a template
- On a patient's record, open Add treatment record and write (or paste) your standard documentation in the notes box — your usual structure for anti-wrinkle treatment, for example.
- Click Save these notes as a template, give it a clear name, and optionally tie it to a specific treatment.
Using one
On every new treatment record you'll see a Use a template dropdown. Pick one and the notes pre-fill — then edit only what changed for this patient (doses, sites, anything unusual). The template is a starting point, not the record: always make it true for the appointment in front of you.
Tips
- Make one template per routine treatment (anti-wrinkle, lip filler, skin booster) rather than one giant template.
- Put placeholders in the text (e.g. "Units: __") so missing details are obvious rather than silently wrong.
- Templates cover the written narrative; exact injection locations belong on the record's injection map, and anything needing a patient signature belongs in a form.
