How online booking works

Online booking turns your shifts into a live, bookable diary on your public page, so patients can book themselves in around the clock.

Where slots come from

Available times are generated from your shifts. If you are not on shift, there are no slots, so the page can never offer a time you cannot work. The length of each treatment determines how much of a shift a booking takes up.

Buffers

You can set a buffer around appointments, a gap before or after, for cleaning down, notes or simply breathing room. Buffers are respected when slots are generated, so back-to-back bookings never leave you without turnaround time.

Minimum notice

A minimum notice setting stops patients booking at the last minute. If you set, say, a few hours' notice, slots inside that window disappear, so you are not ambushed by a booking ten minutes before it starts.

Putting it together

The page only ever shows times that respect your shifts, treatment durations, buffers and minimum notice. The result is a self-service diary you can trust, without the risk of an awkward or impossible booking slipping through.
