Devices, skin type and patch tests

Keep device profiles, skin assessments and patch-test records alongside a patient's treatment records. You need clinical access to read or change the patient's clinical entries.
Your devices
As the clinic owner, open Settings, then Devices, to maintain the device library. A device cannot be archived if a treatment record names it; an entry in the Patch tests card alone does not prevent archiving. Its existing history remains linked to it.
Skin assessments
On the patient's Clinical tab, use Skin assessment and + Record skin assessment to record your assessment. Review existing entries before adding or correcting one.
Patch tests
Use the Patch tests card to record the device, date and areas tested. Record the read-back and any reaction using the controls on the card. You can invalidate an entry that should no longer count.
The displayed wait and expiry follow your clinic's configured settings. They are record status calculations, rather than clinical instructions. Follow your clinic's current protocol when deciding whether treatment can proceed.
Status can show waiting, expiry or invalidation. A recorded No reaction read-back produces Clear; an elapsed wait without read-back can show No reaction reported. If the card says Patch tests could not be loaded, reload before relying on the record; Not read back means that outcome was recorded for the test.
