Connecting Stripe to take payments

To take card payments at the time of booking, connect your Stripe account. Stripe is the payment processor that handles the card details securely, so card numbers never touch your clinic records.

Connecting

1. Go to Settings > Payments.
2. Choose to connect Stripe. You are taken to Stripe to either sign in or create an account.
3. Complete Stripe's short onboarding, which asks for your business and bank details so payouts can reach you.
4. When Stripe sends you back, your account is linked and ready.

What this enables

Once connected, you can ask for a booking reservation fee or full payment when a patient books online. You can also record card payments against patient records. Payouts are handled by Stripe directly to your bank on their usual schedule.

If you do not connect Stripe

The app still works. You can run your diary and record cash or bank transfer payments manually. Connecting Stripe simply adds the option to take money at the point of booking, which cuts no-shows.
