Campaigns: reactivate lapsed patients and fill quiet weeks

Campaigns send a one-off message to a targeted group of your patients — the tool for "everyone who had a treatment but hasn't been back", not for individual appointment messages (those are automatic).

Choosing who receives it

  • Everyone — all patients with marketing consent.
  • Lapsed patients — no visit in the last N months. The classic rebooking campaign.
  • Had a specific treatment — e.g. everyone who has had anti-wrinkle treatment, for a targeted offer.
  • Birthday this month — pair it with a birthday discount code.

You see the audience size before anything sends, and only patients who opted into marketing for that channel are included — consent is re-checked at the moment of sending.

Sending

Write the message (merge tags like the patient's first name, your clinic name and your booking link are available), pick email, SMS or both, and send now or schedule. SMS campaigns use your SMS credits per message. Marketing emails send under your clinic's name from our shared campaign address, with replies going to your clinic. Every email includes an unsubscribe link automatically, and a campaign only ever goes out once — nobody is double-messaged.

What campaigns cost

Every clinic includes 500 campaign emails per calendar month free. Beyond that, campaigns use prepaid email credits (£5 + VAT per 1,000, or 5,000 for £20 + VAT), bought under Settings → Messaging — where you can also switch on auto top-up. Automatic appointment emails (confirmations, reminders, aftercare) are always free and unlimited; only campaign broadcasts are metered. SMS campaigns use your normal SMS credits. The campaigns page always shows how many emails you can send right now.

Making campaigns pay

The highest-return pattern is small and specific: lapsed-patient campaigns with a clear call to book, sent quarterly. Pair a campaign with a promo code from Settings → Offers to make results measurable — uses of the code are counted for you.
