Choosing the colours of your booking page

You can choose the colours of your online booking page so it looks like the rest of your brand. The same colours are used on your gift voucher page and on the forms your patients fill in. Only the clinic owner can change them.

Where to find it

Go to Settings, Clinic and scroll to Booking page branding. Your logo is uploaded here (PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 2MB), then press Save branding. Underneath is the Booking page theme card, where the colours live.

Picking a look

  1. Under Preset, choose one of the ready-made looks: Soft neutral, White clinical, Blush, Sage or Dark luxe.
  2. To change individual colours, choose Customise. You can then set each one: page background, card background, text, muted text, accent, button background, button text, borders, header background and header text. Type a colour code such as #6b4ea8 or use the colour picker.
  3. Check the Preview, a small copy of your booking page drawn in your chosen colours.
  4. Press Save theme. You will see Theme saved.

The readability check

Beside the preview, the Readability check scores each pair of colours that sit on top of each other, such as body text on the page background or button text on the button. Text has to stand out from its background clearly enough for patients to read it comfortably, including on a phone in bright light.

  • Pass: that pair is fine.
  • Warn: the pair is lower contrast than we recommend (for example muted text or borders). You can still save.
  • Block: the pair would be hard to read, so Save theme stays greyed out until you choose colours further apart.

Going back to how it was

Press Reset to default to remove your theme. Your pages go back to the colours they used before you saved one.

Good to know

  • Nothing changes on your booking page until you press Save theme. If you never save one, your page looks exactly as it did.
  • The pricing list you embed on your own website is not affected by the theme.
  • Pick the preset closest to your brand first, then customise one or two colours. It is much quicker than starting from scratch, and the presets already pass the readability check.
