Comparing before and after photos

Once a patient has at least one before photo and one after photo, you can put them side by side, slide between them, and print the pair.

Opening the comparison

On the patient record, press Before / after comparison at the top of the Photos panel. You can also press Compare under any individual before or after photo to open the view with that photo pre-selected.

Choosing the pair

The page shows two pickers, Before and After, each with thumbnails and dates. The most recent photo of each kind is selected by default; tap any thumbnail to swap it in.

Slide to compare

Below the pickers, the Slide to compare view overlays the two photos with a draggable divider, which is the quickest way to show a patient their result in the room. The chosen pair is also shown side by side, each labelled with its date. If both photos are linked to the same treatment record, the treatment name is shown too.

Printing

Press Open print view to print the pair on one page with your clinic name, the patient's name and the treatment as a header. Useful for records, and for a patient who wants to take their result home.

Tips

• Tag photos correctly as before or after when uploading; only those kinds appear in the pickers.
• Link photos to their treatment record so comparisons carry the treatment name.
