30 minutes prior to this appointment you should rinse the nasal passages with a saline nasal wash ( these can be bought from any pharmacy). This helps dislodge any pollen trapped in the nose.
You should not use nasal sprays for 24 hours after treatment, but can start them again after this. You can continue all other form of hayfever treatment such as anti-histamines, if required.
