Treatment is NOT suitable for those with: >diabetes,a personal or family history of thyroid cancer or unstable/uncontrolled thyroid disease ,currently pregnant, breast-feeding, trying to conceive, or undergoing IVF, a history of pancreas, liver, gallbladder, or kidney disease. Treatment cost includes the medication, a monthly review, prescription costs, and clinical oversight of treatments. Mounjaro costs from £250, and Wegovy from £200 for 4 weeks for treatment, with costs rising with higher dose strength. This cost includes the medication pen, prescription fee, one review appointment, sharps box etc. Your GP must be notified you are on these treatments.
